Be careful this summer!
Did you know that up to 90% of melanomas (malignant skin cancers) are caused by exposure to UV light, which includes the sun?
Please be sure to protect yourself and your loved ones this summer by wearing long sleeves, wide brimmed hats, UVA/UVB blocking sunglasses, and applying sunscreen that is SPF 15 or higher according to the manufacturers instructions.
For more information, search “skin cancer” at www.cdc.gov.
If you have any concerns about your skin, come see us.
Now, don’t forget to reapply your sunscreen!
